i've found that i spend less money on groceries when i plan meals ahead of time. the times i don't plan, we stare at the pantry and try to think something up, make too many little trips to the grocery store, and buy lunch more (which gets pricey fast...those work lunches).

i plan every saturday.
i don't wander from aisle to aisle, then have to go back to the baking aisle because chocolate chips were at the very bottom of my list.
love these.
{bonus: they match my kitchen}
ps. thanks for making me feel good about chopping some fringe in the front. i was having second thoughts. okay, i still have second thoughts. but it's fun, and hair grows.
I love the organization! We have recently started doing bi-weekly planning to try and cut costs, but I didn't think about organizing my groceries. Genius!
ReplyDeleteThose magnets look awesome. It is true, planning meals ahead saves money and prevents headaches. I swear, 4-6pm are the witching hours at our house, and if I'm wandering around the kitchen trying to decide what to make, it is sure to be a rough evening for all!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get those?? See Jane Work? I feel like I must have them immediately!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally know what you mean - planning meals means saving money. And nothing bugs me more than having to go back to an aisle I've already been down.
Glad to see I'm not the only one ;)
oh my gosh, I LOVE those lists!! I have the all out of and it's the best grocery list EVER!!! but I haven't seen the menu planner. Got to get one of those!! we missed you severely at girls' night!
