"i can't believe IL dmvs aren't open on saturdays. i had to take a day off work to register our vehicle. dmvs suck the happiness out of the air. is any dmv worker truly happy? the environment is toxic. three separate buildings, five grumpy employees, two security guards, and three credit card transactions later, we are official. who knew this process was so awful? wait, me. that's why i put it off for six months."
ahhh, but it's done now.
i'm very grateful to have a car, just not grateful for u.s. vehicle licensing laws and dmvs.

ReplyDeleteHonestly.... I can't think of a worse place than the DMV. It is a sickness waiting to latch on to any piece of you as you walk through.
ReplyDeleteI was excited to have different plates, though, to show that I've lived elsewhere... but when the credit card kept being charged and the orange tickets kept appearing... i just wished I looked like I was from Arizona again. Just leave me alone you parking nazis!
It's a good thing that the good things outweigh the parking issues in Chicago.
