krabi, thailand: muang

krabi is paradise. and i've got way too many photos to prove it.
my good lens cracked in india, so the 50mm was all i had. not so great for breathtaking landscapes, so some of these memories were taken by friends.

we spent two nights in muang and two nights in railay bay with great friends relaxing, elephant trekking, cheap massage-ing, drinking fresh smoothies, eating pad thai, boating, snorkeling, playing cards, watching sunsets, swimming, and napping.
this was our first "real" vacation this year...as in, nate was not working! hooray!

i let sage go for it on the beach...she was pretty happy about all that squishy sand.

since we had the pool to ourselves, we stripped her and let that diaper get reeeeal heavy...then let her skinny dip for a quick second (love that lily white baby) while the sunset lit up the sky.

the elephant trek lulled sage right to sleep, but she did wake up nice and sweaty to feed the elephants...

and yeah, i'm gonna have to apologize for my high-pitched mom voice. what can i say? i was excited.

  1. Riding an elephant?! So crazy! You guys are the coolest little family I know. I can't believe she's almost a year old!
