we waded into the ocean with our luggage to hop on a long boat to railay bay. i expected amazing, but i think the beautiful cliffs and lush jungle exceeded my expectations.
while the "sheese" and onion sounded tempting, of course we went with a banana nutella thai pancake.
nate egged the monkeys on and eventually got one to take a banana from his mouth...
this little guy gladly finished the remains of our mango smoothie too
snorkeling at chicken island
i accidentally forgot my swim suit of all things, but jane came to the rescue with an extra! good thing, because my choices at the hotel gift shop were basically a crocheted triangle top or rainbow ruffle dress in size 000.
at poda island, these ladies requested photo after photo with blake and sage
the best part of the trip was hanging with these guys
baby sage got lots of walking practice in. she was spoiled with attention.
linds even taught her how to high five!

we came home with dried sand on our feet, covered in mosquito bites, a little sunburned, and wishing we were still sipping fresh banana smoothies on the pristine beach (ahem. some of us were wishing to be back on the massage table). we love you, thailand.

let's go back! don't you agree? i love the sunsets, the soda water, the smoothies. livin' is easy in thailand! loved every second of vacation with you guys. especially nate/blake's fight with the junk-boat driver!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing!, what a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteyou are making me want to go back to thailand so bad. also, i'm glad that you solved the mystery of what a thai pancake is—we kept wondering but were too nervous to find out...
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful place! Glad you're able to travel so much while you're there and have so many adventures. :) Are you planning on returning to the Philippines?
ReplyDeleteKalista, we will probably do another temple trip to Cebu next year. You should go to Krabi with your cute girls! It was definitely kid-friendly.
ReplyDeleteThese pics are GORGEOUS!!! And makes my craving for Krabi even stronger!!! So glad you guys had a great time.
