matt and belize braved the uncomfortably long flights from the u.s. and leaving behind their sweet kiddos to be our first visitors. it feels like such a blur, but it did at the time too. we'd look at each other and wonder what we even did the day before...because we did a lot of things!
we packed in chinatown, the night safari, dim sum at din tai fung, little india, henna, arab street, turkish bread and hummus at alaturka, three different temples, indian food at our village, the boat quay, botanic gardens, orchid gardens, marina bay sands, gardens by the bay, and ended with mediterranean food paired with a beautiful sunset on the bay. and that was just the singapore part.
it was nice having a little piece of familiarity (something i need sometimes), plus they came bearing gifts in the form of squeezy baby food and mrs. meyer's hand soap. it's all about the little things.
