sage says

as she walks in to go to the bathroom: "uh, mom? can i, like, have some primacy (privacy) please?"

s (telling me the names of her stuffed animals at grandma's house): "and this is mulan the wolf, bitty baby, and lucifer." 

me: "lucifer?"

s: "yeah, lucifer the bear"


"here's the deal, mom. i want to watch a movie. if you're being a great listener, we can."

as she's jumping on the bed: "i'm getting my injury (energy) out!"

me: "wouldn't it be so great to be eating pain au chocolat in paris right now?"

s, chuckling: "ahhh, yeah. and hot dogs..."

and one more: "my throat is so soggy (sore)!"

this girl keeps us on our toes. she hears and repeats everything, has multiple imaginary friends (she refers to them as "her kids"), and loves music more than anything else. her most constant song request? harder, faster, stronger by daft punk :)
