homeless in seattle

i love our visits to my parents' home so, so much.
i love being in back in the pacific northwest
and i love seeing my little girls with their grandparents, great grandparents, and aunts and uncles there.

we couldn't move into our san francisco loft until june 1st, so while nate started work and bummed around (he rented a garage and lived with generous friends too), we stayed with my parents. i made them do whole30 with me, which translated into lots of dishes, perfecting sweet potato fries, and learning to eat more vegetables for breakfast. most nights, we'd "help" (watch) my dad in his garden. we spent the second week sick, sick, sick. lame! but what better place to be sick than at your mom's house?

we hung out at the park one afternoon and the pack of neighborhood girls invited sage to play with them, which is pretty much like christmas to a little girl.
a teacher at church interpreted sage's name as...fate.
a four generation carousel ride downtown
lovely great grandma kay

and then my parents hopped on a flight with me and my circus of bags/children. oh, how i love them!
